Types of Residential Surveys across South Wales
Looking to purchase a new home and needing a survey carried out? We carry out three different levels of surveys as detailed below, depending on the type and age of property, certain surveys may be more appropriate than other to allow you the best information regarding the house you are looking to buy. Contact our surveyors for further information and advice.
Level 1 Elemental Defects Report.
This report is dealing with a specific issue, covering one or more of the following subjects:-
- Timber Decay
- Structural Issues
Level 2 Homebuyers Report.*
This report is more conventional for properties in reasonable condition. It is a concise report detailing any significant problems that could affect the value of the property.
On average a survey takes half a day for our Chartered Surveyors to record and note all information needed, and photograph the site. Larger properties, or buildings in a poor state of repair may take longer.
It generally takes four working days to get a report typed, photographs annotated and sent out to you.
In conjunction with the survey we can meet to advise on any potential adaption or extension works you are considering for the property. Find out more information about our architectural services, or contact us for more information.
